Dear people who might perhaps have a look to my blog,I thought it would be the time ti give some news. Since the last time I wrote, a looot of things happened. So, once again, i dont know where to start ! tss.. Time passed very fast. I had a lot of stuff to do for school. I was counting every day before i woudl be back to Czech. I actually went to Russia for a course by that time. Wonderful experience, 1 week in Kola Peninsula. I learned a lot about what was going on up there, the lectures were all very interesting and the scenery even more. I took thousand pictures in one week. The colors, the people, the weather, everything inspired me. I felt desoriated for the first time in a while. I was quite lost there in a way... but awesome ! After that between my courses the sun just really came back in Rollo. There was already no nights when I left. The weather was super nice, we spent quite a lot of time drinking beers on the beach next by valde mari... hmm... I compared the midnight sun to november but in positive ! It is always bright outside, you get a bit mixed up with your habits. Dont know if it is time to eat or to sleep or to do something with your life. It was really nice ! The life in Kunotie changed a bit as well. We were always talking together from balcony to balcony. If somebody would be playing guitar on another balcony it would have quite a big audience there. the kind of squares that make the backyard of kuntotie is really perfect to chill all together even when we are all on different balcony. I loved it ! What else... I went to sweden ! With lady lada for one day. Just the time to say : smör ! eat a pizza, drink a couple of swedish beers in a certain park and realised that nothing was going on in that city. Let's go bakc to jamaica AKA Oulu in Finland ! There we had a long party night. Otherwise in Rollo, between firecamps, kauppayhtiö, karaokes, beers on the beach we were just happy all together hanging around.

My last week was quite painful... I couldnt believe i choose myself to leave that place in advance. I was quite emotional the whole week. It was actually a very very nice week. It started by my openning and pilvi's openning. An evening drinking by the lake side... a lot of sun ! a lot of friends! a lot of evening together! Lys-ange's teather play! a lot of cleaning! a lot of stress ! tsss... A last party in kauppa and then by goodbye party at the fire place... Evrething was really nice. I was glad so many people came to say goodbye to me. The last day they even ran after the train ! I coudn't manage to keep the tears. I cried a lot ... but their energy filled me of positivisme and after one night in the train and one night in the airport of london, I was back with Jakub ! I was so glad to see all my czech friends again that i couldnt be sad with them ...

I still keep one thousand good memories of the napapiiri and I'll be back to Rollo by the end of june ! Can't wait to see minun ystävät again!! So difficult to decide where to be somtimes ! tsss... but like my title says, I am in austria now. Chilling with Aleeex. We had a dreamy meeting with jakub, jan, alex, sarah and sabrina. It seemed so unrealistic to see the friends from the 1rst semester again but it was sooooo good ! A big big party on this austrian balcony and even more days in Austria for me... !! Life is well done :) I am so lucky to have met all those good people, and so lucky to be able to meet them again and again. I wish it could last forever, until the sky falls down on me for example tsss.. !!

I'll add more pictures one day... I am wondering if there are still some people brave enough to follow my lazyness to take care of this blog!

Once again, i haven't refresh my blog news for a while... Anteeksi ! This is probably due to the fact that I'm much more busy then last semester... Since I'm back from Czech Republic I have been working at school almost everyday even on week-ends.. I know this is quite similiar to my life in Quebec but totaly different then the one I got in Rollo at my first semester.
 IMG_6068-1-.jpg

Anyway.. what's new ? I'll try to be brief and explain a bit what have been going on after Czech except my studies :P So, 2 months ago, I've been back to Norway in Tromso for a film festival. Enjoyed the movies a lot, the northern lights as well and chilled with those nice people i met in my first trip there. I shown my czech skills to Michaela and Chatted about art with Silvia and Vidar! That was a very awsome week-end ! after that i haven't travel much, I've been astounded many times by all those crazy sunsets and sininen hetki we got up here. The Lappish sky will impressed me till the end Its for sure. By the way.. I guess you caught it, but the sun is back ! The first months it was here, i think every single day, when we came back from school we talked about the sun. We have been missing it so much in november, that everyday we couldn't believe it was here. I think we stopped talking about it when we realized it will be there for a while.. and we realized this maybe 2 weeks ago ?! Not even sure... sun is always tempting to talk about when you have dealed without it in a northern winter !

lol and what else.. I also decided not so long ago that i should maybe get to know a bit the new exchange students. I've been so grognasse about having lost all my friends that I've avoided every new students for the 2 first months after my return. I was just so scared to have to deal with another painful separation ... But still I think the new people are so cool that they deserved to be known. I guess if i don't spend every second of my life with them like i did with the friends from last semester i should be fine at the end ?! Let's see ! Now that sarah left, our circle starts to be quite tight. Otherwise there are still many ESN parties i don't participate too, but also some other activities organized by the city like  poro races. This week we went in the center to enjoy those reindeer races and santa walking around, that was quite a tipical activity. More I live in Finland more I like Finns. They always have crazy ideas. Not so long ago I had a snow sauna ( the sauna was really made out of snow !!) and then, a bit after i had a sauna in a bus ?! Always good experiments! and hmmm SAUNA ! I'm gonna miss this a lot next year.. this is such a good invention :) And what else about my news...... eeh ?! I'm going to Russia next week for a course. Gonne be nice I think ! Can't wait to travel a bit ! Wish I could also travel  in april but if not it is gonna be in May ! I bought a plane ticket this week.. I'll be back in Eastern Europe after school ;) but no worries, I'll come back in Finland not so long after to enjoy the midnight sun and saunas again !! I can not leave this country without travelling a bit more around it !!!

poro races 325

So, that's about it... hope my English is not too confusing... I speak french all the time now...grrrrr... There are so many french speaker in this city compare to last semester !!

Anyway. Bye people !

I'll try to add pictures when I'll have a bit of time.. It seems I'm not very good at it anymore!

                                                          IMG_5852.JPG

After a while without having written anything, I'm back with some stories of Czech Republic and in English this time! I switched of language because of a certain man who was a bit grognasse one day and told me that an English blog could be more useful for everyone...So, even if I'm not totally sure about my English skills, I’ll try to manage it for my dear friend Jakub Skopek :P ( But I also know it would be great for a lot of other people…So, you were kind of right monsieur!)

First of all, my Christmas holidays didn’t really start in Czech but in Jyväskylä in central Finland. I went with Audrée to celebrate Christmas with Pilvi’s family. That was just awesome! We not always got our real Finnish Christmas but we also felt like if we had a family abroad. The most difficult for me the first time that I spent this period of the year in Europe, was definitely to know my family in Canada and me in stupid France… It is just too important to be well surrounded at Christmas, it’s a law! This time, that’s was perfect. We really felt like at home, Tuula really acted like our maman J and our time spent with Paoli was really cool even if we could not communicate with him in English! We spent 5 days there and that was very relaxed, we went to the forest many times after we realized how metsalainen we were and we didn’t wanted to do that much kaupunkilainen activities, of course ! The time spent with Pilvi was also very great, we don’t always have time to chill together at school and those holidays were just the perfect moment to do it.

                IMG 5829jour-de-lan-czech-009.JPG

And then, on the 27 of December, we left Finland to go to Czech Republic to meet all or Czech friends, my friend EDITH and some daneks. Two weeks, of good beers, good food, good people, good moments, some grognasse times too but, no big deal! We went to Prague like every tourist does but we also visited Ceska Kanada, where we celabrated the New Year eve in a cottage in the forest! What a nice time!  No shower for 4 days, costumed moments with friends, discovery of the hermelin and improvements of my Czech skills: P what do you want more ?!  We visited a bit the countryside of Czech, were we met Jakub’s parents who hosted us pretty well!! His mother is the queen of cooking!  After all those sweets, we passed by Brno and Zlin to meet our friends Jan and Lukas and went back to Prague after our last stop in Pacov the city of our artistic friend Veronika jour de lan czech 045

Prague was great too, a bit cold compared to the article circle but that was nice to spend time there, to go to the ballet at the Opera and look chic and rich ! Haha! What I really loved in this trip was that it was just chill all the time. We never woke up early, we seen everyone that we wanted to see and that was just a good way to say our last farewells to our best friends met in Rovaniemi. The moment where we left Klara and Jakub at the airport was probably the most painful moment of this beautiful trip L  Audree and I cried for…. A fucking long time! We bought some whiskey and spent one night drinking sips for every of our friends who would not be in Finland for this new semester. Sounds a bit pathetic but that was very symbolic I’ll say!
                                                                                                              jour de lan czech 354

Now we are back! The head full of great memories. I still need a bit more time to get use to my “new” life. To accept that Jakub and Alex won’t couchsurf at our place anymore. We have to start to think about cleaning the kitchen by ourselves and forgetting about this delicious Austian food, or klara’s babovka… this semester is a new era. No brunches forever, No lunches and coffes with Jakub in Lovisa for 5 hours, No Jon Lajoie jokes anymore (I’ll try hard). This semester I get a life! (I’ll also try very hard( should start by finishing the poneys…)) ! It’s really time for all of us (Even the people who are gone! haha) to stop playing cards and drink whiskey every day and do something with our lives! Lol the blues are still there for me, I kind of sulk the new exchange students but it will changes soon I guess. Life is well done, that was just too beautiful to meet you all, guys! Too beautiful to be sad of it :P Hope with all my heart to see you again in future !! kisses and hugs for everyone who chilled with us in our Quebecilainen flat :P

I don't have time now to put the pictures of Czech on my blog but as soon as my oral presentation will be done, I'll manage to add some new pictures about Czech republic but also maybe about Rovaniemi because I just realized the last ones are very old. They are from our first brunch, this time when the sun haven’t been gone and when Skopek didn't decided to grow a beard !

Wow ! Des montagnes en plus ! Des montagnes partout, tout le temps. J'savais pas à quel point ca m'avait manqué. On  a vu des Aurores boréales, des Poros, des serial killer vans, des kotkas, a certain man, des fuking beaux norvégiens !
